Role: Videographer & Content Creator

Location: Various Locations Across England on the weekends

As our Videographer & Content Creator, you’ll play a vital role in shaping how England Dodgeball connects with players, fans, and the wider sports community. Through dynamic videos and engaging social media content, you’ll help grow the sport, celebrate our community, and boost our visibility.
This role is an opportunity to showcase the energy, inclusivity, and excitement of dodgeball, inspiring participation and elevating England Dodgeball’s profile.
Role Overview:
Are you passionate about sports, creative storytelling, and bringing communities together? England Dodgeball is looking for an innovative and skilled Videographer & Content Creator to join our team. This is your chance to combine your creative talent with your love for sports, helping to capture the energy, excitement, and spirit of dodgeball through exceptional visual content.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Plan, film, and edit high-quality videos and reels to showcase matches, training and build up towards competitions.
- Develop engaging content that promotes England Dodgeball’s events, initiatives, and players.
Social Media Content:
- Produce content tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook,
- Keep up-to-date with social media trends to create fresh, impactful content.
- To support humanising the squad to connect to new audiences and the wider community.
Coverage:
- Attend tournaments, training and events to capture live footage and produce real-time updates.
- Highlight behind-the-scenes moments that celebrate the essence of England and our sport.
Brand Development:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with England Dodgeball’s brand identity.
- Help to develop personality content to build upon our followers
- Create promotional materials for campaigns, merchandise, and community initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
Desirable:
- Proven experience in video production, filming, and editing.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Experience working in sports media or a fast-paced content creation environment.
- Knowledge of dodgeball or other team sports.
- Skills in photography, graphic design, or motion graphics (e.g., After Effects).

Knowledge and Abilities
- understanding of social media platforms and trends, especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Creative storytelling skills with the ability to turn ideas into visually engaging content.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent visual composition.
- Sound communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with teammates.
