Role Purpose
The Treasurer will oversee the financial affairs of England Dodgeball, ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with financial regulations. You will provide strategic advice and guidance on financial matters, working closely with the Manager and Management Committee to enable informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight
- Manage and monitor England Dodgeball’s financial health, ensuring proper records are maintained.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to the Manager.
- Act as the primary financial advisor to the Manager, offering strategic input on financial decisions.
Budget Management
- Create membership pricing structures to present to the Management Committee.
- Develop and oversee annual budgets, ensuring alignment with England’s goals.
- Monitor and manage expenditure and income streams to ensure the financial sustainability of operations and programmes.
- Efficiently pay bills and invoices.
- Create player support plans to aid our players on low income.
- Recommend and implement financial policies and procedures to strengthen membership packages, selection and any other business.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Professional experience in finance, accounting or club treasury.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- A passion for community sports or experience working in the non-profit/voluntary sector.
Desirable:
- Previous experience as a Treasurer or similar role within a non-profit, charity, or sports organisation.
- Familiarity with charity governance and financial reporting requirements in England.
- Knowledge of funding streams and sponsorship in a sports context.
