I first got into dodgeball at university where I played cloth. Once I graduated, I became fully immersed in the sport, dedicating significant time to improving my skills through captining my university club and joining the Derby Phantoms, my current team. This is my second season with them, and I’ve learned so much from my teammates, especially their dedication to the sport. Dodgeball has become a massive part of my life, with many of my friends also playing.
I’ve also had the opportunity to play in international friendly tournaments with my friends, meeting players from various countries, which has always reinforced the joy of dodgeball for me. Last year, I even managed to visit some teams in Boston when I traveled to the states for work and learned how to play outdoor rubber dodgeball.
I discovered foam through social sessions at Derby and got really exicted about it while running junior sessions at my university last year, and I instantly loved it. I am super excited to join the englans lions foam team and see both cloth and foam dodgeball continue to grow.
