For my first two competitive seasons, I played dodgeball on a pretty serious knee injury – which was addressed with surgery in Feb 2024. My England trial was 3 days before my surgery and I thought the timing sucked as I couldn’t train with the Academy for months, but it helped me focus my rehab and come back stronger than before. Dodgeball is so much easier with working knees!
