Brennan O’Regan

My dodgeball journey began in the first week when I joined the University of Sheffield, and I haven’t looked back since. Growing up, I played sports my whole life, starting with rugby and football at age 4. At university, alongside dodgeball, I also played ultimate frisbee and American football, which significantly improved my fitness, decision-making under pressure, and ability to work as part of a team. Reflecting on my time in dodgeball, I am incredibly proud of the experiences it has provided me. Some of my favourite memories include my international appearances in Canada, where I had the honour of representing Great Britain, and in Austria with England Foam. These trips stand out as major highlights, not only because of the opportunity to compete at an international level, but also because I got to learn alongside some of the best players in the world. Equally special are the countless training sessions with my university friends, where we’ve pushed each other to grow both as players and as a close-knit team. I look forward to a few more years of playing at the highest level and continuing to represent my country, something I truly take great pride in.
